well, my first resolution of the year is achieved!! Hoorayy
Was feeling rather down on that day, so i decided to do something crazy.
Wouldn't forget that particular day because it was on the fourteen of february.
Not doing it for anyone..just doing it for myself.
So i just googled 'tattoo brunei' and got a phone number. After calling that number, i arranged a meeting with the tattooist and we met!
It was THAT IMPULSIVE AND SPONTANEOUS.
Well..in the end, i didn't do it because that person wasn't free and i haven't really thought of the design.
But i knew at that time that i wanna get something like 'courage' or 'brave'.
Well, i got inked at a different place two days later after that spontaneous meet up..so it was on the 16th of february to be exact.
It was crazy on that day. The current went off when we were half way done!
Yeap, that's exactly june's luck in action.
Exactly half of my gemini tattoo wasn't shaded yet, so i jokingly said that, "well, so one of my two personalities is dominant now". Err..maybe it's a sign from the universe.
I didn't feel pain for the first session. For a pain scale of 1 to 10, maybe i would rate it 2/3. Must be the adrenaline. I was smiling all the time. Too happy because i have finally done it! Have been wishing for this for years! Maybe around 5 years.
However because of that stupid blackout, i went home and had to continue my tattoo few hours later. By that time, the pain has already started kicking in and i was kinda afraid. There were some blood too.
Oh.. i went with a friend. She went there to get a coverup. Seriously, the tattooist did a great job! The cherry blossom is soooo beautiful.
I uncovered the tattoo about three hours later.
I left it uncovered as much as possible.
Only covered it for the first night when i sleep and when i have to wear long pants during the first week.
For the first week, I usually just cleaned it using cotton balls under running tap water.
and also i would always cover it when i shower during the first week.
After cleaning it, i apply this.
The primapore that i stole from ripas fits perfectly!
Can't remember when did i take this photo. Should be around four days later.
Well, i couldn't really cover this tiny one on my wrist so it was kinda difficult to keep it dry all the time. Probably explains why it looks much uglier than the gemini one. Viv said it was as if being stitched using a needle.
starts scabbing after a week!
Well, i didn't restrain myself from eating seafood, eggs and oyster sauce after the tattoos. Didn't feel unusually itchy or anything. No pus. Redness gone by the third day.
In other words, my healing process went perfectly smooth! Probably because it wasn't a big ass one that's why it healed easily. It was even not as bad as the wounds that i normally get from falling onto rough grounds.
Can't wait to get more tattoos! Saving my money. Urghh.
