29th June - Butterworth/Georgetown/Batu Ferringhi/Gurney's Hawker Centre

Arrived Butterworth at around 6:30am. 

Then we took a ferry to Georgetown (Penang)!

From the jetty, we walked to Love Lane, where Old Penang Guest House is situated! 

I should have taken photos of the quiet streets that morning (Saturday).

It felt so nice to walk on the beautiful Penang street without any noise or air pollution.

The staffs of Old Penang Guest House were really friendly and helpful! 

When we asked for directions to go to Batu Ferringhi, they introduced us a driver. We have six people altogether and the driver charged us 40rm for the ride.

We went to Little Angel Cafe for breakfast before going to the beach. The food was really yummy and the staffs were really friendly too!

Batu Ferringhi Beach

The weather was perfect for water sports when we were in Batu Ferringhi!

Sil, Leo, Carl, PL and Ru all tried parasailing. I was in-charged of the photo-taking of course! haha activities that involve heights were never my thing :(

I joined them for Viper boat and Jet skiing. These two alone cost me 130rm. T_T 

The viper boat was super fun. But it was risky as we might be flown away by the crazy speed if our grip weren't tight enough :/ 

And Jet skiing became bad idea when Ru reminded me that there are sharks in the sea. Hahaha. I totally forgot about that.

Love the beach!

Our bus trip (Bus no. 101) from Batu Feringghi back to Love Lane actually cost about 17rm only. Oh well~

Finally showered after i dunno how many hours >< definitely more than a day. haha hence, the smelly six.
So after shower, we went to Gurney's Hawker Centre to grab our dinner.

28th June - Pasar Seni/1Utama/Curve/KL Sentral

Spent the first night in sil's aunt's place. Really thank her so much for offering us to stay.

We went to a lot of places on the second day.

Took train to Pasar Seni where there are many shops selling stuffs at touristy price. Hahaha seriously. 

Then took free shuttle bus (Ikano or something) to 1Utama.

There, we spent about 3 hours in RedBox. It was awesomeee!Good deals too. 

After karaoke we went to try ice skating in the Curve.

First time in an ice rink and I had so much fun!  

After skating, we rushed to KL Sentral to catch the train to Butterworth.

The train departed at around 12am. 

It was freaking cold in the train T_T . The seats were bit dirty, and the train stopped maybe every 20minutes. The lights were on for the whole night. Quite uncomfortable. We chose the cheapest tickets, maybe that was the reason. >< 

The most torturing part of the day was carrying our heavy bags around. Packing light for 4 days was quite challenging! I really really should have gotten a good backpack for this! 

27th June - From Brunei -> KL

2 weeks ago, carl and i were complaining that we haven't had the chance to go vacation with friends, and that our parents are taking it for granted because we are being too obedient. 

4 days later, we flew to KL with PL to meet silvian. 

It was a super duper last minute plan. I didn't expect mum and dad would allow me to go at first. It was a pleasant surprise.

Dropped by Panaga Highland Games last saturday with Carl and PL.
I love love love the floral crowns that everyone (almost) was wearing on that day. So tempted to get one for myself but i resisted. YAY.
