PRAGUE

I have gotten so lazy in writing the rest of our trip.

So we took the night bus to Prague from Paris and arrived at 6 in the morning.

PRAGUE.IS.BEAUTIFUL.

It took us some time to figure out exactly where we were when we first got off the bus (We were dropped off at the bus stop next to the train station), remember we had neither a map nor the gps. We eventually found out that we were at the other side of the railway station and we have to cross the main street underground (through the station)?

Good news is, we got ourselves free maps once we arrived at our hostel. Prague is an easy city to navigate and the city centre is rather small, so we did most of our exploration by walking.

Well, this time it is difficult to compile the pictures according to the places we visited, but i will try. We mostly just wandered around, took pictures and went hunting for food (goulash, most of the time, and cold drinks).

     Prague Castle

And a few other places around that area. Few other churches? cathedrals? Honestly, I don't really know exactly which is which. We did not even enter the castle. We basically did not go anywhere that requires us to queue or waking up early. Yeah, lazy, we are lazy travellers.

You have got to try this. I think? It tastes like a donut to me. This is the only one that we had.

We wanted to ride the tram but we had no idea how to use. See that yellow box thingy over there? That is where you can get the tickets (I think). We met a kind czech who told us not to waste our time buying the tickets at that ticket machine, but instead buy it from the cigarettes shop. Definitely easier and saved us time and headache figuring out in front of the machine. I have to admit though, i still don't get how the trams work. We just rode it without punching our tickets for hours and it was fine (?). Don't blame me if you got kicked out because of this. :X

The stairs to the castle is superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr long.
But you get to see this beautiful view of the city:

Beer on a hot day gives you headache baby.

Gargoyles-gargoyles-gargoyles-gargoyles....it took me a long time to remember this word and now i can't stop repeating it. I think they are really cool, one of the parts that i would observe whenever i visit cathedrals.

Would you wanna eat your dinner like that? :/

Old Town Square / Astronomical Tower

All the people waiting to watch the clock strikes every hour.

We stood there for about fifteen minutes trying to interpret the dial and zodiacal ring while waiting for the clockwork show. There are so many details, details that i wish i could understand. Can you see the skeleton ringing the bell?

     Charles Bridge

Is she taking pictures of us??

Wish i had taken more pictures on the bridge. It is always very crowded with tourists. We couldn't wake up early to avoid the crowd :(

     Pivovar Narodni

This restaurant is incredible. 3 out of the 4 meals we had in Prague, we had it in this restaurant. It is this yummy. We stumbled upon this gem and had our best meal ever without following any recommendations from websites and shit like that. Just like that. I really think this is how we should travel, forget about the internet and just enjoy yourself.

     Lokal

This restaurant has pretty good reviews and appeared in a lot of blogs. So we went to try and were so lucky to be seated without any reservation. We did not like the goulash and the fried cheese is literally just fried cheese. I thought it would taste like magic in my mouth but no, we did not even finish it. Once again, we were disappointed, by following the suggestions online. So...just eat whatever you like?

Have always been wanted to go to Prague after i saw the photos of DBSK's 'Prince in Prague' photo album. It is as lovely as how i have always imagined. I would definitely visit Prague again in the future. We missed out a lot of things actually. Two days one night might be a little too short but we were actually too exhausted and hot to walk under the sun. We did not rush ourselves nor force ourselves to visit all the touristy places. We spent most our time sitting on benches, chasing peacocks, looking for slushies and fruit juices. I even fell asleep while riding the tram! The heat was ridiculous.
Next time i would want to visit the Bone Chapel in Kutna Hora!
